Abstract
Taking the implementation of three batches of low-carbon pilot policy by the Chinese government as a quasi-natural experiment,the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2007 to 2020 are used to construct a multi-period DID model to explore the impact of low-carbon pilot policy on the carbon emissions of China's construction industry.The empirical results show that low-carbon pilot policy can significantly reduce the carbon emissions from China's construction industry.At the same time,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the effect of the pilot low-car-bon policy on reducing the carbon emission from the construction industry in the northern region is greater than that in the southern region;The results of dynamic effect analysis show that the policy effect continues to be significant in the following five years except the fourth year after the implementation of the policy;The mechanism analysis results show that the low-carbon pilot policy mainly reduces the growth of carbon emissions from the construction industry by reducing the electricity consumption and improving the technical level of the construction industry.关键词
