Theoretical Mechanism and Empirical Test of Rural Revitalization Promoting Common Prosperity

Abstract
Rural revitalization is an important measure to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents and pro-mote the equalization of basic public services.It is also the only way to achieve common prosperity.Based on the theoretical analy-sis of the mechanism of rural revitalization promoting common prosperity,this paper selects the provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020 to empirically test the relationship between the two.The results go as below:Rural revitalization has a significant promoting effect on common prosperity.From the perspective of different regions,the positive effect of rural revitalization on common pros-perity is more obvious in the developed areas.The mediating effect test shows that rural revitalization has a positive impact on common prosperity mainly through technological innovation,green inclusive finance and public service,among which technologi-cal innovation has the strongest mediating effect,green inclusive finance the second,and public service the weakest.Therefore,the following should be well done:steadily advance the modernization of agriculture and rural areas and build a solid foundation for common prosperity;focus on building a high ground for technological innovation and connect the cycle path of science and technology;strengthen green and inclusive financial services and extend financial coverage;build a diversified public service sys-tem and strengthen the provision of social security,so as to give full play to the role of rural revitalization in promoting common prosperity.关键词
