Advances in Studies on the Relationship between the Occurrence and Development of Helicoverpa armigera and Climatic Conditions
摘要
Abstract
Cotton bollworm,Helicoverpa armigera(Hübner)(Lepidoptera:Noctuidae),is one of the most serious insect pests in the world,and distributed all over the world.Due to its characteristics of long-distance migration and high reproductive capacity,if suitable conditions,it often causes large-scale outbreaks and disasters,resulting in significant losses to agricultural production.Understanding the life characteristics and population change pattern of cotton bollworm is a prerequisite for controlling cotton bollworm.As for poikilotherm,climate conditions have a significant impact on its growth,development,and disaster mechanisms.Thus,this article systematically introduced the research progress on the impacts of climate warming on cotton bollworm,including growth and development,body color change,reproduction,diapause,flight,overwintering,interactions with crops and other aspects.And prospect the future research focus,to provide theoretical basis for the integrated cotton bollworm management.关键词
