Impact of Combined Treatment with Dapagliflozin,Metformin and Insulin Glargine on Blood Glucose Levels and Insulin Indicators in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of dapagliflozin combined with metformin and insulin glargine in the treatment of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods 80 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into two groups.Both groups were treated with metformin.On this basis,the control group was treated with insulin glargine,an the observation group was treated with dapagliflozin and insulin glargine.The blood glucose levels,insulin-related indicators and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the blood glucose levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the insulin-related indicators were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was 15.00%,which had no statistical difference with 12.50%in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusions Dapagliflozin combined with metformin and insulin glargine in the treatment of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus has better effect,which can effectively enhance the regulation of blood glucose and improve the islet function,and is safe and reliable,with significant clinical value.关键词
