Clinical Application Effect of Standardized Nursing in Postoperative Colostomy for Rectal Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To explore the application value of standardized management in postoperative colostomy for rectal cancer.Methods:The study subjects were 80 patients with rectal cancer who underwent colostomy after surgery.After admission,they were randomly divided into the control group(n=40)and the experimental group(n=40)using a random number table method.Routine nursing and standardized nursing intervention were given respectively,and the application effects were compared.The study was conducted from February 2021 to February 2023.Results:The experimental group had significantly higher scores of knowledge,belief,and practice in stoma nursing before discharge compared to the control group;The probability of complications in the experimental group is lower than that in the control group;The experimental group had a higher rate of correct nursing ostomy and a lower frequency of leakage compared to the control group;The experimental group had a higher long-term quality of life score compared to the control group;The comparison showed statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of standardized nursing intervention in the intervention of postoperative colostomy patients with rectal cancer can not only ensure the scientific nursing of clinical operations,but also effectively control the occurrence of colostomy complications,prevent adverse events,and improve the long-term quality of life of patients.It is worth promoting and adopting in clinical practice.关键词
