Abstract
AIM To understand the rationality of the total glucosides of white paeony capsules in the treatment of oral mucosal diseases so as to provide references for standardizing its use.METHODS Retrospective statistical method was used to analyze the clinical diagnosis,patient gender,patient age,and drug usage and dosage of 1 178 total glucosides of white paeony capsule prescriptions in the Department of Oral Medicine in 2020.RESULTS The total glucosides of white paeony capsules were off-label used in the treatment of oral mucosal diseases such as oral lichen planus(70.88％),recurrent aphthous ulcer(11.71％),Sjogren's syndrome(7.30％)and discoid lupus erythematosus(4.50％).The patients were mainly female(68.00％)and middle-aged and elderly,and 83.53％of the prescribed usage and dosage complied with the regulations of drug instruction.CONCLUSION The off-label use of total glucosides of white paeony capsules for the treatment of oral mucosal diseases is reasonable.Doctors must obtain patients'clear and informed consent before prescribing.Drug manufacturer should improve drug instruction in time,so as to provide more information for doctors'rational drug use and pharmacists'prescription comments.关键词
