Current status and prospect of treatment of compression fractures of osteoporosis vertebral bodies

Abstract
With the increase of age,some degenerative diseases of human body function will gradually manifest,thus affecting people's work and life.One of the most common degenerative diseases is osteoporosis(OP),which in addition to the pain caused by increased bone resorption itself(more common in the lower back),the most serious complication is fractures,of which vertebral com-pression fractures are the most common.Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture(OVCF)can have a serious impact on the patient's life,including increased pain in the lower back,hunchback deformity,etc.,and because there are many basic diseases in elderly patients,if the treatment effect of the disease is not good,the patient is bedridden for a long time,it may induce or even aggra-vate the underlying disease,so that the patient's quality of life is seriously reduced.With the continuous development of medical tech-nology,the current treatment methods for OVCF are very rich and can obtain certain curative effects,which can be divided into non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment.Non-surgical treatment includes oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine,physical therapy,manual reduction treatment,etc.Surgical treatment includes minimally invasive surgery and open surgery.Through reading and summarizing the relevant literatures at home and abroad in recent years,the author aims to explore the treatment methods of OVCF,compare the advantages and disadvantages of each treatment method,and explore the better treatment of OVCF.关键词
