Abstract
Chronic heart failure is the end-stage manifestation of various heart diseases,which is characterized by high disability,high death and high recurrence.With the acceleration of population aging and the change of lifestyle,the number of people with heart failure in the elderly population continues to rise.Elderly patients with chronic heart failure seriously affect their physical and mental health and quality of life due to long-term recurrent symptoms such as dyspnea,fatigue and edema,so it is very important for patients to manage their own symptoms.Symptom management self-efficacy is the belief or confidence in the ability to successfully manage their own symptoms,which will have a positive impact on patients'symptom management behavior and is the key to improving self-management ability.However,at present,the symptom management self-efficacy of elderly patients with chronic heart failure in China is low,and it is urgent to improve its level.The present situation,theoretical basis,assessment tools and intervention measures of symptom management self-efficacy in elderly patients with chronic heart failure were reviewed in this paper,in order to provide refer-ence for clinical staff to formulate targeted measures to improve symptom management self-efficacy in elderly patients with chronic heart failure and promote disease management.关键词
