Research Progress on the Application of Stem Cells and Their Genetic Improvement of Cattle and Sheep
摘要
Abstract
The research of animal biotechnology is one of the hot research in biotechnology,which not only occupies a dominant position in the research and treatment of regenerative medicine and human diseases,but also plays a vital role in the improvement of livestock species.As a new type of experimental material,stem cells can be combined with gene editing,somatic nuclear transfer,in vitro fertilization and next generation sequencing,and hold great scientific potential and application value in livestock genetics and enhancement.This article summarizes isolation and culture technology of stem cells,as well as the research progress of stem cell technology in the genetic breeding of cattle and sheep in recent years,and looks forward to its application and development prospects.关键词
