Abstract
Minyan18 is a new flue-cured tobacco variety developed through pedigree selection by crossing K326LF and NC82 in 2011.The results of regional test in Fujian Province and southeast China showed that the new variety had good adaptability,strong growth,and was easy to cure.Minyan18 exhibited better main economic traits than K326.Its resistance to bacterial wilt and brown spot disease is slightly better than K326,and its overall disease resistance is comparable to K326.Cured leaves were mainly in rich oil,brightness and evenly distributed color.It had the favorable and well-proportioned chemical composition.The results of industry evaluation showed that the comprehensive quality of Minyan18 is superior to both K326 and Yunyan87.In summary,Minyan18 features high quality,resistance,yield and wide adaptability.关键词
