Abstract

Soil salinization is an important environmental factor affecting the growth of wheat.Cultivating salt tolerant wheat varieties is one of the ways to ensure the production of wheat in Alkali soil.The evaluation and screening of salt tolerance of wheat materials is an important basis for cultivating new salt tolerant wheat varieties.Cangmai 6005 was a national approved salt tolerant wheat variety.Sodium azide was used to conduct chemical mutagenesis on Cangmai 6005,and 73 mutation fa-milies were obtained.The salt tolerance of the family group was identified at germination under 40%artificial seawater stress,and evaluated the salt tolerance using TOPSIS.The results showed that:(1)Under 40%artificial seawater stress,the sprout length,root length,shoot fresh weight,and root fresh weight of wheat at the germination stage were all inhibited by salt ions,with a decrease generally ranging from 50%to 60%.(2)By combining TOPSIS method and clustering method,the evaluation and grading of salt tolerance during wheat germination can be achieved.(3)The evaluation results of TOPSIS method and membership function method were basically consistent.Therefore,the calculation process of TOPSIS method was simple,intuitive,and fast,and can be used as a comprehensive method for evaluating salt tolerance of wheat.
