Abstract
During the Northern Song Dynasty,the three key figures related to the revival of the Cao Dong Sect were Fa Yuan(991-1067),Yi Qing(1032-1083),and Dao Kai(1043-1118).All three Zen masters have a deep relationship with the city of Anqing.In Fushan,Tongcheng County,Fa Yuan Zen Master handed over the Zen method of the Cao Dong Sect to Yi Qing Zen Master,resolving the inheritance crisis of the Cao Dong Sect.Yi Qing Zen Master first practiced in Fushan,and later promoted Zen in Baiyun Mountain in Taihu County and Touzi Mountain in Tongcheng County for a long time,which kicked off the revival of the Cao Dong Sect.Dao Kai Zen Master obtained enlightenment in Baiyun Mountain,and later came to Kaifeng to promote Zen teachings,and the situation of the revival of the Cao Dong Sect was officially formed.In short,Anqing is the place where the Cao Dong Sect began to revive during the Northern Song Dynasty.关键词
