Abstract
This study conducts an initial exploration of the anatomical structures of classical acupoints,confirming the distinctiveness of their physical structures and sensory characteristics.The anatomical structures of the five transport points are located around the muscle or bone hila,with specific points being connected to neural pathways.Needle insertion and pressure on acupoints initiate sensations markedly different from surrounding tissues,referred to as"acupoint sensation".This research identifies three defining characteristics of classical acupoint location:concavity,acupoint sensation,and alignment with classical descriptions.This research offers anatomical explanations for the evolution and controversies in the location descriptions of certain acupoints found in ancient texts.The elucidation of the anatomical structures of these acupoints not only sheds light on their unique attributes but also enhances the significance of exploring acupoints from an anatomical perspective.关键词
