Abstract
Bast fibers,characterized by sustainability,have gained a considerable attention in recent years due to their advantages of environmental acceptability and commercial feasibility.In this paper,kenaf/UP com-posite is prepared by taking kenaf felt,one of the representatives of bast fiber,as reinforced material and unsatu-rated polyester(UP)as matrix with hand lay-up and compression molding methods.Low cycle fatigue(low speed low cycle fatigue)and high cycle fatigue(high speed multiple cycle fatigue test)are designed to explore the fatigue properties and fatigue limit of the composite,and the fracture morphology and failure mechanism of bast fiber under different fatigue test conditions are observed emphatically.关键词
