基于对消超表面的角反射器宽带RCS减缩设计
Broadband RCS reduction of corner reflector based on the phase-cancellation metasurface

Abstract
The corner structure strongly reflects the incident electromagnetic waves.Some inevitable corner structure on the equipment platform usually results in a large radar cross section(RCS),which goes against stealth and survival.In order to realize the stealth design of the corner reflector structure,this paper proposes a mono-static RCS reduction design method based on phase cancellation.Firstly,the principle of RCS reduction of dihedral corner reflector(DCR)based on phase cancellation surface is analyzed.Two metasurfaces are designed which have 180±37° phase differences in the broad bandwidth of 7.6-17.6 GHz,forming the checkerboard structure and reducing the specular scattering of the planar structure.The checkerboard metasurface is applied to the inner wall of the DCR,and can reduce the mono-static RCS over the whole X and Ku band without changing the shape of the corner structure.The maximum RCS reduction is 29.5 dB.Simulations and measurements verify the RCS reduction of the DCR.关键词
