Research on Integrating STEM Education into the"Laboratory Safety"Course from the Perspective of"Emerging Engineering Education"

Abstract
This manuscript proposes ideas and methods for integrating STEM(science,technology,engineering,mathematics)education into the"laboratory safety"course from the perspective of"emerging engineering education".This is achieved not only by optimizing the laboratory safety knowledge system but also by reforming the laboratory safety teaching mode to effectively integrate STEM and other content into the curriculum.The results demonstrate that better teaching outcomes are attained through experimentation.On one hand,these measures serve to stimulate students'interest in learning,especially improving the overall quality of homework.On the other hand,the teaching design aims to facilitate a transfer from knowledge acquisition to skill development as well as from basic comprehension to mastery,which promotes the implementation of laboratory safety courses and reinforcing educational objectives.关键词
