Abstract
Spinal muscular atrophy(SMA)is a hereditary neuromuscular disease with a high incidence and poses a serious threat to the lives and health of children.MRI is the primary imaging method for neuromuscular diseases.Conven-tional MRI can visualize the morphological characteristics and pathological changes of muscles,while functional MRI can quantitatively assess the degree of muscle lesions.Skeletal muscle MRI has certain clinical value in evaluating SMA muscle lesion,assessing therapeutic effect,examining swallowing function,and monitoring SMA progression.This article reviews the clinical applications and research progress of skeletal muscle MRI in SMA.关键词
