高校新生艾滋病知识与歧视态度、行为相关性研究
Correlation of AIDS knowledge with discrimination attitude and behavior among college students

Abstract
Objective This paper aims to understand the knowledge on AIDS,discriminatory attitudes and behavior among freshmen in a university,and to provide evidence for colleges and universities to formulate corresponding AIDS prevention and control strategies.Methods A total of 825 freshmen in the 2018 batch in a comprehensive university in Chongqing were selected by cluster random sampling.A self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the general sociological demographic characteristics,AIDS-related knowledge,discriminatory attitudes and behavior of freshmen.Results The awareness rate of AIDS knowledge was 69.70％(575/825),and 13.94％of respondents(115/825)answered all the questions correctly.A significant difference was observed in AIDS awareness between gender participants(X2=5.677,P=0.017),with 74.60％(232/311)and 66.73％(343/514)of AIDS-related knowledge awareness among males and females,respectively.Univariate unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that gender,major,time to obtain HIV-related knowledge,and HIV-relat-ed knowledge derived from television,newspapers,books,school education,classmate friends,parents,and independent learning may affect the AIDS-related knowledge of the respondents(P＜0.10);multivariate unconditional logistic regres-sion analysis showed that HIV-related knowledge derived from school education and independent learning were the influen-cing factors of AIDS knowledge of them(P＜0.05).Overall,69.09％(570/825)were willing to continue to travel with HIV-infected classmates,but 55.88％(461/825)were concerned about staying in the same dormitory with HIV-infected classmates,56.85％(469/825)were concerned about swimming with HIV-infected classmates,and 40.97％(338/825)were concerned about eating with HIV-infected classmates.Concerning the two items of"staying in the same dormitory with HIV-infected classmates"and"swimming with HIV-infected classmates",the proportion of girls choosing to mind was sig-nificantly higher than that of boys(X2=4.575,P=0.036;X2=12.938,P＜0.001).Regarding the question"Eating with students infected with HIV",the proportion of students majoring in literary and history who chose to mind was significantly higher than that of students majoring in science and engineering(X2=7.287,P=0.007).Significant differences were ob-served in discriminatory attitudes and behaviors among participants with different levels of AIDS knowledge(P＜0.05).Conclusion The knowledge of AIDS among freshmen in this university is still not comprehensive,and some freshmen still have discriminatory attitudes or behaviors towards patients with HIV.Colleges and universities should focus on carrying out targeted campus education such as anti-discrimination attitude and behavior,and pay attention to the cultivation of students'independent learning ability simultaneously.关键词
