Abstract
Objective This paper aims to investigate the effect of acupoint moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation nursing on upper extremity function, neurological function and quality of life in patients with ischemic stroke(IS)to provide evidence for clinical treatment. Methods From April 2021 to April 2022,92 patients with IS admit-ted to Pingdingshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as study participants. The patients were ran-domly allocated to the control group and observation group, with 46 cases in each group.Routine rehabilitation nursing in-tervention was employed in the control group, and acupoint moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine rehabil-itation nursing was employed in the observation group.Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)for upper extremity motor func-tion,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),and 36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)scores were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment. Results Before intervention,no significant difference was ob-served in the FMA score between the groups(P>0.05).At 7 days,15 days and 30 days of treatment, the FMA scores of the two groups were significantly increased, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,no significant difference was observed in the NIHSS score between the two groups(P>0.05).At 7 days,15 days and 30 days of treatment, the NIHSS score in both groups was significantly decreased, and the observa-tion group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint moxibustion combined with tra-ditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation nursing can not only effectively promote the upper extremity motor function, but al-so protect the neurological function and raise the quality of life of IS patients. These benefits hold promise for a wider clinical application.关键词
