Wang Lina's Experience in Treating Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Kidney deficiency is the root cause of the onset of polycystic ovary syndrome,which involves the Liver and Spleen,causing blood stasis,Qi stagnation,and Phlegm Dampness obstruction as the symptoms,and in turn negatively affects the Kidney function.They are mutually causal,with a mixture of deficiency and excess.The clinical application of tonifying the Kidney and regulating the cycle based on the dynamic changes of Yin and Yang in the Kidney,and the diagnosis and treatment in different stages.In the stage after menstruation,the main treatment approach is to nourish Kidney Yin,nourish Essence and blood to fill the blood sea and harmonize Qi and blood,in order to promote the development and maturation of follicles and lay a material foundation for ovulation.Before the period of menstruation,the treatment mainly focuses on tonifying the Kidney and assisting Yang,promoting blood circulation and unblocking collaterals,providing conditions for the smooth discharge of eggs,and using modified ovulation promoting decoction.Premenstrual treat-ment mainly focuses on tonifying the Kidney and assisting Yang,warming the uterus,promoting corpus luteum maturation,providing a source of power for the implantation of fertilized eggs in the uterus and timely excretion of menstrual blood.The Kidney Yin also be nourished to conforms to the law of Yin and Yang conversion in the Kidney,with modified Huangti Decoction.During the period of men-struation,the treatment is to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis,regulate Qi and meridians,to promote blood production.It is advisable to promote blood circulation and meridian regulation,with a focus on removing blood stasis and guiding blood flow down-wards.The formula is to use a modified formula for regulating meridians and blood circulation.At the same time,we should attach im-portance to traditional external treatment methods such as acupuncture and moxibustion,catgut embedding,scraping and Du meridian moxibustion,strengthening exercise,improvement of the life style and diet,adjusting the endocrine disorder,to maintain the balance of Qi and blood,Yin and Yang,and then to regulate the function of hypothalamus pituitary ovary uterus reproductive axis as a whole,to re-store normal menstrual cycle,and improve ovulation rate and pregnancy success rate.关键词
