Study on Characteristics of Strong Earthquake Activity in Qinghai-Tibet Pateau
摘要
Abstract
The strong earthquake activities in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its internal sub-blocks have significant spatial-temporal clustering characteristics.Since the 20th century,the main spatial and temporal distribution of strong earthquake activities in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has experienced three times of regional transformations,showing more complex activity characteristics.The characteristics of strong earthquake activities in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its internal sub-blocks are studied by using the spatial-temporal projections of each sub-block along the strike of the main active faults.Based on these characteristics,some preliminary analysis and judgement are made on the future strong earthquake activities in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau关键词
