黄芪消积化浊汤治疗糖尿病前期脾虚痰湿证患者的疗效及安全性研究
Effect and Safety of Huangqi Xiaoji Huazhuo Decoction(黄芪消积化浊汤)in Treating Patients with Prediabetes Mellitus of Spleen-Deficiency Phlegm-Dampness Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To study the clinical effect and safety of Huangqi Xiaoji Huazhuo decoction in treating patients with prediabetes mellitus(PDM)of spleen-deficiency phlegm-dampness syndrome.Methods:A total of 70 patients with PDM of spleen-deficiency phlegm-dampness syndrome were randomly divided into treatment and control groups,with 35 patients in each group.Patients were given healthy life guidance in control group,and Huangqi Xiaoji Huazhuo decoctionon based on control group in treatment group.The clinical effect,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,saliva related indicators,pancreasislet function,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate was 94.28％(33/35)in treatment group and 77.14％(27/35)in control group.The treatment group showed higher total effective rate than control group(P＜0.05).The conversion rate of diabetes was 5.71％(2/35)in treatment group and 25.71％(9/35)in control group.The treatment group showed lower conversion rate of diabetes than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the treatment group showed lower total score of TCM syndromes and the scores for chest and abdominal distension,fatigue,head heaviness and body sleepiness,loose stool,excessive phlegm and dry mouth than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the salivary alpha-amylase(sAA)activity ratio before and after acid loading,and salivary flow rate(SRF)increased,while total protein level decreased in two groups(P＜0.05).After treatment,the treatment group showed higher sAA activity ratio before and after acid loading,and SRF than control group,while lower total protein level than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,fasting insulin(FINS)level and the homeostasis model assessment-beta cell function(HOMA-β)increased,and the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)decreased in two groups(P＜0.05).After treatment,the treatment group showed higher FINS and HOMA-β than control group,while lower HOMA-IR than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Huangqi Xiaoji Huazhuo decoction is effective in the treatment of patients with PDM of spleen-deficiency phlegm-dampness syndrome,with a lower conversion rate of diabetes.In addition,it can effectively improve saliva and pancreas islet function related indicators,with good safety关键词
