Abstract

In order to better exploit and utilize sweet sorghum silage,Illumina MiSeq 2 × 250 system was used to perform high-throughput sequencing of the V3-V4 region of bacterial 16SrDNA.The bacterial diversity and community structure of rumen fluid samples from high sugar sweet sorghum silage(HSS),low sugar sweet sorghum silage(LSS)and maize silage(MZS)were analyzed.The results showed that the microbial richness of rumen fluid extracted from HSS and MZS was similar and higher than in LSS.The proportion of Bacteroidetes in HSS and MZS was the largest,which was significantly higher than that in LSS(P<0.05),accounting for 39.65%and 40.51%,respectively.Firmicutes accounted for 29.67%and 32.87%,which were lower than in LSS.According to the analysis of bacterial genera,Prevotella and Ru-minococcus were dominant bacteria in three rumen fluids.There are many commonalities between HSS and MZS rumen fluids,and the richness of bacterial genera is higher than that of LSS.The results showed that HSS can be used to replace MZS to feed cows.
