Abstract
Objective To understand the level of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)health and cultural literacy of Anhui residents and its influencing factors,so as to provide basis for formulating health intervention strategies of TCM.Methods Using stratified multi-stage random sampling method,the permanent residents aged 15-69 in 12 counties of Anhui Province were selected for a questionnaire survey.Results In 2021,the level of TCM health literacy of Anhui residents was 19.76%,among which the level of TCM information understanding ability literacy(64.17%)was the highest,and the level of TCM public appropriate methods literacy(4.73%)was the lowest.There were significant differences in TCM literacy among residents with different gender,age,education level,occupation,annual family income,urban and rural areas and whether they suffered from chronic diseases(P<0.05).Education level is the main influencing factor of Anhui residents'health and cultural literacy of TCM.Conclusion In 2021,the level of TCM health and cultural literacy of Anhui residents has improved compared with previous years,but the level of TCM public's literacy of appropriate methods still needs to be improved.Health education and health promotion intervention should be focused on residents with low education level.关键词
