Analysis of Scientific Health Concept Literacy and Its Influencing Factors of Residents of Fujian Province in 2021

Abstract
Objective To understand and analyze the level of scientific health concept literacy and its influencing factors of residents in Fujian Province,and to provide scientific basis for carrying out health education and formulating intervention strategies in the future.Methods Stratified and multi-stage random sampling method was used to investigate the non-collective residents aged 15-69 in 14 counties(or cities and districts)of Fujian province,and a total of 3 554 valid questionnaires were completed.Results In 2021,the health concept literacy rate of Fujian residents was 51.49%.Among them,87.8% understood the role of health food and 82.7% could correctly understand the concept of health,but the correct answer rates of the two questions about the correct way to promote mental health and the benefits of breastfeeding for infants were still less than 60%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that education level and family annual income were the main factors affecting the level of scientific health concept literacy.The lower the education level,the lower the scientific health concept literacy.The lower the family annual income,the lower the scientific health concept literacy.Conclusion The level of scientific health concept literacy of residents in Fujian Province has formed initially,and the scientific health concept literacy of residents with low education level and low-income family's needs to be further improved.关键词
