Trends of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Literacy Among Residents in Baoshan District of Shanghai from 2020 to 2023

Abstract
Objective To understand the trend and influencing factors of chronic disease prevention and control literacy among residents in Baoshan District of Shanghai from 2020 to 2023 so as to provide a basis for follow-up development of relevant measures.Methods A multi-stage random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among residents aged 15-69 years old in Baoshan District of Shanghai from 2020 to 2023,and then the data of literacy of chronic disease prevention and control in the questionnaire was analyzed.Results From 2020 to 2023,the literacy rates of chronic disease prevention and control literacy of residents in Baoshan District of Shanghai were 46.9%,46.4%,47.1% and 52.4%,respectively.In terms of the awareness of knowledge points related to chronic disease prevention and control literacy,the rate of the knowledge point"the benefits of eating soybean products such as tofu and soy milk"in 2020 was 56.1%,and the rate of the knowledge point"depression can also occur in children and adolescents"for four years was about 94.0%.Except for the two knowledge points of"the significance of self-measured blood pressure"and"the early danger signal of cancer",the differences in the awareness rate of the other knowledge point between different years were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that educational level was an independent influencing factor on the level of chronic disease prevention and control literacy among residents.Conclusion The level of residents'chronic disease prevention and control literacy in Baoshan District of Shanghai has decreased first and then increased with each year,and the increase in 2023 is larger than that in 2021.Education level is the main influencing factor of residents'chronic disease prevention and control literacy.In the future,targeted and continuous intervention should be carried out among residents.关键词
