Abstract
Objective To understand the current situation and influencing factors of mental health literacy among university freshmen in overseas schools,and to provide a basis and reference for improving the mental health literacy level of university freshmen in overseas schools.Methods Using the whole-group sampling method,1580 students who participated in the freshman physical examination at a university in Guangzhou were selected as the study subjects,and the general information questionnaire,the Mental Health Literacy Scale(MHLS),and the Psychological Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)were used to investigate.Results The total score of mental health literacy of freshmen in overseas universities was(117.75±10.30).The results of multiple linear regression showed that household registration,gender,and psychological resilience level were the independent influencing factors of mental health literacy of freshmen in overseas universities(P<0.05).Conclusion The mental health literacy of university freshmen in overseas schools is at an intermediate level,and the focus should be on the mental health literacy of freshmen who are male,of different household registration,and have a low level of psychological resilience,and targeted mental health prevention and intervention strategies should be adopted to promote the improvement of the mental health literacy of university freshmen.关键词
