Monitoring and Analysis on Birth Defects in Putuo District of Shanghai from 2017 to 2022
摘要
Abstract
Objective To understand the incidence of birth defects in newborns in Putuo District of Shanghai from 2017 to 2022,and to provide a scientific basis for birth defect prevention and control strategies.Methods The monitoring data of birth defects in 5 delivery hospitals in Putuo District of Shanghai from 2017 to 2022 were analyzed to describe the distribution characteristics and changing trend of birth defects.Results The incidence of birth defects in Putuo District of Shanghai during 2017-2022 was 17.1‰,showing an increasing trend.The incidence of birth defects was different in the distribution of birth weight,maternal age and the time point of COVID-19 epidemic(P<0.05).The top 5 birth defects were congenital heart disease,polydactyly and syndactyly,congenital deformity of ear,cleft lip and palate,congenital absence or atresia of anus.Among them,the incidence of congenital heart disease and ear congenital malformation showed a significant upward trend.Conclusion The incidence of birth defects from 2017 to 2022 was on the rise in Putuo District of Shanghai,and the incidence of congenital heart disease always ranked the first place.It is necessary to continue to strengthen the monitoring of birth defects and the prevention of key diseases,formulate pregnancy health care programs during emergency period,carry out prenatal screening extensively,and improve the birth quality of newborns.关键词
