摘要

Abstract

With the advance of industrialization,the production of large amount of industrial wastewater has brought serious threats to the environment,and the resource utilization of wastewater is imperative.Bipolar membrane electrodialysis(BMED)has been applied in many fields,including wastewater treatment and resource recovery,because of its unique mechanism of water dissociation and ion transfer.It can enrich organic or inorganic pollutants in ionic state from wastewater and produce chemicals to realize resource recovery.Here,the reactor composition and working mechanism of BMED process are introduced,and the preparation method of bipolar membrane,the application of wastewater recycling and modification methods are reviewed.Finally,the factors restricting the development of BMED process at present are put forward,and the development trend of BMED process in the future is forecasted.
