Research Progress of the Characterization Technology for Membrane Fouling
摘要
Abstract
Membrane-based water treatment technology is increasingly and widely used,but membrane fouling has been one of the important factors to reduce membrane flux and shorten membrane service life.The development of characterization technologies contributes to a deeper understanding of membrane fouling processes and provides references for the studies on fouling mechanisms and control strategies.The technologies of membrane fouling characterization are complex and diverse,which could make researchers confused during the selection of proper methods.According to the purposes,this paper divides the existing technologies of membrane fouling characterization into three types:fouling layer visualization,foulant identification and fouling process investigation.The progress and limitations of each kind of characterization technologies are summarized,and the prospects and suggestions for future research are also provided.关键词
