Summary of the best evidence for prevention of medical adhesive-related skin injury in patients with PICC catheterization

Abstract
Objective:To summarize the related evidences of medical adhesive-related skin injury(MARSI)in patients with peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)catheterization,so as to provide evidence for clinical evidence-based practice.Methods:An evidence-based approach was applied to search the literature on prevention of MARSI in PICC patients according to the pyramid"6S"evidence model.The search period was from January 1,2010 to January 30,2023,and the quality and recommendation level of the evidence were evaluated by two researchers.Results:A total of 12 high-quality papers were included,and 19 best evidences were extracted from 4 aspects,including patient assessment,operation method,dressing selection and use,training and education.Conclusions:This paper summarizes the best evidence for preventing MARSI in patients with PICC catheterization,and provides evidence-based basis for medical staff to prevent MARSI in clinical work.关键词
