Abstract
The northern Shenmu region is located in the northeastern part of the Ordos Basin, known for its abundant oil and gas resources. In the Paleozoic Taiyuan Formation,Shanxi Formation, and Shihezi Formation, there are small-scale normal faults, reverse faults,strike-slip faults with strong cutting abilities,as well as high-angle fractures.Faults and fractures generated by tectonic activity,as well as fractures formed by the fracture of mudstone due to abnormally high pressure within source rocks, all have an impact on the migration of oil and gas and the distribution of oil and gas fields. This paper utilizes seismic data, drilling data, well logging data, and imaging data, combined with methods such as synthetic seismogram calibration using artificial seismic records and field outcrop investigation. It employs techniques such as core observation,thin-section identification, and imaging logging to identify fracture structures, their development types, and basic development laws. The above methods have significant research significance and practical application value for oil and gas exploration in the northern Shenmu region.关键词
