Abstract
The technology of computer-aided manual cartography has some defects such as low efficiency and long cycle,which can not meet the needs of the development of the times.This paper briefly introduces the concepts of geographic information system,data features and cartographic technology,and on the premise of clarifying the research status of cartographic technology in the application of geographic information system data,this paper takes the production of the geographical national condition census atlas of a province as an example,and discusses the application example of automatic geographic mapping technology realized by WJ-Ⅲ software in GIS data.It is proved that automatic cartography technology can greatly improve the cartographic efficiency and provide technical guarantee for the integration of national condition data base in the province.关键词
