Abstract

The 3D forward design of the construction general layout of water conservancy and hydropower pro-jects has become an inevitable trend in the development of the industry.Secondary development of the 3DE platform was carried out using the CAA programming language,and a 3DE-based construction general layout slag dump design system was designed,including optimizing the design scope of the slag dump,determining the control boundary of the slag dump,creating a 3D slag dump model,and filling construction management of the slag dump.The forward design was carried out for a construction slag dump of a hydropower project in South-west China.It was initially obtained that the filling height of the slag dump in the waste slag area was 151.8m,and in the mining area was 45.3m.The 3D model and slag stacking plan were further generated,which provided data support for the general layout design of construction.The program can be applied in the whole life cycle of hydropower project construction general layout design,including effect presentation,preliminary planning,construction design and post-monitoring.
