Abstract
Weak Architecture is a product of the struggle against the dominance of modernist architecture.It emphasises phenomena rather than a priori relationships between phenomena in order to create ambiguity,amorphousness,and a multitude of potentialities.This paper firstly analyses the sense of contradiction of Strong Architecture(Modernist Architecture)in the information era and the reasons for the emergence of Weak Architecture from the two aspects of function and relationship,based on the background of the information era and Vattimo's theory of the"weak thought".Then it takes the thoughts and works of Japanese architects Sou Fujimoto and Kengo Kuma as examples to illustrate the emergence of Weak Architecture and its typical characteristics,and analyses the necessity of the emergence of Weak Architecture in contemporary times and its influence on the future development of architecture.关键词
