The Centripetal Cavity:An Exploration of Spatial Transition Relationships in Herman Hertzberger's Residential Buildings
摘要
Abstract
Hertzberger's architecture shows a high degree of correlation with behaviour,the senses and interpersonal relationships.He tends to use space to deal with the transition between public and private,individual and collective.This paper analyses Hertzberger's residential buildings.It explores the design methods in the definition of interior domain and the transition between interior and exterior.It further reveals the commonalities of the design methods and compares them with similar cases.Finally,the core meaning of Hertzberger's treatment of spatial transition relationships is summarised.关键词
