Abstract
The nylon 66/nylon 6/nylon 6I-6T/glass fiber(PA66/PA6/PA6I-6T/GF)composites were prepared by melt blending modification technology.The effects of PA6 on the surface condition,mechanical properties,and thermal properties of the composites were studied.The results show that when the content of glass fiber is 60 phr and the ratio of PA66/PA6 is 21/5,the surface of the composite is smooth and the'floating fiber'issue is solved.Compared to the composite without PA6,the addition of 5 phr of PA6 results in a decrease in tensile strength and flexural strength from 210 MPa and 294 MPa to 205 MPa and 291 MPa,while the flexural modulus and impact strength increase from 15.6 GPa and 8.4 kJ/m2 to 17.2 GPa and 9.9 kJ/m2.With the addition of 5 phr of PA6,the thermal deformation temperature of the composite decreases from 208℃to 204℃,while the melting temperature decreases from 251℃to 225℃.The melt flowability increased to 2.3 times of the original melt flowability,and the corresponding sample surface is smooth.The study indicates that adding 5 phr of PA6 can improve the'floating fiber'phenomenon of PA66/PA6I-6T/GF composite with high glass fiber content(60 phr)without affecting the usability of the composite.关键词
