Abstract
Na-GMMT suspension was prepared with sodium-based montmorillonite and glycerol under the condition of a constant-temperature oil bath,and TPS/Na-GMMT composites were fabricated by combining Na-GMMT in specific proportions with glycerol and starch using a twin-screw extruder under high-temperature thermal shear.The effects of the filling amount of Na-GMMT on various properties of TPS materials were studied.The results show that the addition of Na-GMMT enhances the tensile strength of TPS/Na-GMMT composites.The addition of Na-GMMT does not alter the crystalline structure of TPS.The addition of Na-GMMT improves the thermal stability of TPS materials;with a Na-GMMT content of 10%,the initial thermal decomposition temperature and the temperature of the maximum decomposition rate of TPS/Na-GMMT composites increase from 286℃and 312℃for TPS to 317℃and 322℃respectively.Branch starch from corn starch enters the lamellar structure of montmorillonite,forming a more compact structure.The addition of Na-GMMT enhances the hydrophilicity of TPS materials.When the addition amount of Na-GMMT reaches 10%,the composite changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic.关键词
