Station Layout Design and Traffic Volume Capacity Calculation on Newly-built Intermediate Stations with Dual-Gauge Track Railway

Abstract
With the advancement of the"Belt and Road Initiative",the impact of different gauge problems in countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt on the smooth realization of connectivity has become more significant,and the importance of rail technology has become increasingly prominent.Based on the characteristics of complex switch layout and cumbersome signal equipment,the differences between the dual-gauge track railway intermediate stations in the throat area of double-gauge railway station were analyzed.According to the different train types and operation models,a method of checking station technical standard occupation time based on acceleration was proposed to calculate the passage capacity at the throat area.Considering the basic condition of the capacity of different arrival and departure fields respectively,this paper summarized the calculation idea of the passing capacity of the station.Finally,the paper proposed to optimize and improve the passing capacity of dual-gauge railways by adjusting the existing train diagram to reduce various intervals and adopting standard gauge train to take on some existing gauge transportation tasks.关键词
