Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of acupoint application of Chinese medicine in the treatment of pneumonia with dyspneic cough in children.Methods A total of 66 children with pneumonia with dyspneic cough admitted to Pizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangsu Province from October 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the control group and the study group,with 33 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group was treated with acupoint application of Chinese medicine on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect,duration of clinical symptoms resolution,hospital stay and respiratory function were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The duration of clinical symptoms resolution and hospital stay in the the study group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,forced vital capacity,forced expiratory volume in one second and blood partial pressure of oxygen in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of acupoint application of Chinese medicine in the treatment of pneumonia with dyspneic cough in children is good,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and respiratory function of children,and is worthy of clinical application.关键词
