摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Metformin on the prognosis of patients with breast cancer combined with diabetes mellitus type 2(T2DM).Methods A total of 140 patients with breast cancer combined with T2DM in Tangshan Hongci hospital from January 2017 to January 2022 were selected and divided into two groups by the random number table method,with 70 cases in each group.The control group received conventional chemotherapy,and the observation group received Metformin treatment on the basis of control group.The prognosis of the two groups was compared.Results Following up to January 2023,the progression free survival and overall survival in the observation group were longer than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Metformin treating breast cancer combined with T2DM can prolong the survival time and improve the prognosis,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
