Abstract

In order to avoid hidden line risks in power system and reliably identify hidden faults of power transmission lines,a hidden fault identification method of power transmission lines based on IPSO-SVM is proposed.We obtain the envelope spec-trum singular value matrix corresponding to the feature,describe the hidden fault feature vector of power transmission line through the matrix,input it into the support vector machine model optimized by optimized particle swarm optimization algo-rithm and least square method,classify and identify the hidden faults of power transmission line,and output the identification results.The test results show that when the penalty factor and kernel parameter are 0.002 and 15,respectively,this method can accurately analyze the time-domain characteristic parameters affecting hidden faults.The identification error of hidden trou-ble is less than 0.06.
