The Trilogy of Rural Research:From Poverty Alleviation to Rural Revitalization,and then to Achieving Common Prosperity

Abstract
Understanding and grasping the theoretical and practical innovation from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization,and then to solid promotion of common prosperity is not only the practical need to effectively guide the current work of"agriculture,rural areas,and rural residents",but also the inherent requirement for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization.In the new era and new journey,the work of"agriculture,rural areas and farmers"faces a large number of new situations and new problems that need to be solved urgently.In the face of these difficulties,the Western China Poverty Management Research Team considers the important discussion of President Xi Jinping on the work of"agriculture,rural areas,and rural residents"as a fundamental basis,and their approach applies Marxist perspectives and methodologies to delve into rural realities.They conduct extensive literature reviews,field investigations,and case analyses to probe the genesis,evolution,value,significance,methodologies,and case studies associated with poverty alleviation,rural revitalization,and common prosperity. First of all,the team adheres to the grand historical concept and accurately grasps the course and experience of the Communist Party of China in promoting agricultural and rural development.In poverty management,the Communist Party of China has led the Chinese people from the period of"famine and cold"to the stage of"all-round well-off society",and has gone through such stages as"institutional reform","social relief","institutional reform","development and poverty alleviation","whole village promotion"and"precision poverty alleviation".It has not only made world-renowned material achievements in poverty reduction,but also formed a poverty management theory with Chinese characteristics and forged a great spirit of poverty alleviation.Secondly,the team adheres to the systematic concept and comprehensively explains the theoretical innovation and practical innovation of agricultural and rural development in the new era.In particular,President Xi Jinping,on the basis of inheriting and developing the Marxist theory of urban and rural development and the development thought of traditional Chinese farming civilization,formed an important discussion on rural revitalization,and profoundly answered the questions of"why to implement the rural revitalization strategy","what to revitalize rural revitalization in the new era",and"how to comprehensively promote rural revitalization".What's more,The team adheres to problem-oriented and actively responds to theoretical and practical problems facing agricultural and rural development in the new era.To comprehensively promote rural revitalization,it is necessary to clarify the relationship between urban and rural areas,food and economy,main line and bottom line,reform and innovation,and solve the problems of"urban-rural dual structure","polarization of rich and poor"and"regional development imbalance".Finally,the team adheres to the principle of"from one point to an area",and their research involves meticulous case studies in areas in China like Yan'an and Qianyang County in Baoji.They propose a holistic perspective that links poverty alleviation,rural revitalization,and common prosperity as a continuum.This journey,from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization and onward to common prosperity,epitomizes the essence of prioritizing people and embodies the Communist Party of China's mass line in practice.关键词
