摘要

Abstract

Traffic generator is a network testing tool that can be used to test network performance in specific scenarios,etc.Existing traffic generators are mostly software-based and support only single-protocol traffic generation,which is not flexible enough.A software-defined traffic generator based on field programmable gate array(FPGA)has been designed and implemented to support multiple pro-tocols such as Eth,FC,SRIO,PCIe,etc.It offers more flexible configuration options and better performance,and can support precise and controllable output data stream size,which facilitates the flexible mixing of multiple data streams.
