基因组选择是在全基因组水平上估计目标群体的所有遗传标记的效应值,以达到对候选群体未知表型的精准预测,可实现育种工作的早期选择;该技术弥补了传统育种的不足,具有缩短世代间隔、降低育种成本等优势,对于低遗传力或难以测量的、又具有重要经济效益性状的评估尤其有用.基于预测精度的提升和基因分型价格的降低,使基因组选择被快速应用.为此,文章从基因组选择、在具有重要经济价值的反刍动物方面的研究以及所面临的机遇与挑战进行综述,为在反刍动物中应用基因组选择技术提供理论参考.

Genome selection is to estimate the effect values of all genetic markers in the target population at the whole genome level to accurately predict the unknown phenotypes of candidate populations,which can realize the early selec-tion of breeding.This technique makes up for the shortcomings of traditional breeding,has the advantages of shorte-ning generation interval and reducing breeding cost,and is especially useful for the evaluation of low heritability or eco-nomically important traits that are difficult to measure.Due to the improvement of prediction accuracy and the decrease of genotyping price,genome selection has been applied rapidly.Therefore,this paper reviewed genome selection,the research on ruminants with important economic value,and the opportunities and challenges they face,so as to provide theoretical reference for genome selection in ruminants.
