Multi-stage Dispatchable Region Analysis of Wind and Solar Power-based Hydrogen Production and Ammonia Synthesis System

Abstract
To intuitively describe the load flexibility of the wind and solar energy-based power-to-ammonia(P2A)system,considering the varying-load adjustment characteristics of the hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis processes,a describing method of the multi-stage dispatchable region(MSDR)is proposed based on the idea of dynamic programming and the computational geometry theory.The proposed method transforms the multi-stage robust constraints into deterministic state-space polyhedral constraints.For any state in the dispatchable region,a control sequence that satisfies the constraints in the subsequent process exists.Therefore,the dispatch ability of the P2A system is visualized.The proposed MSDR model can be further used for multi-stage robust scheduling to optimize the profitability of P2 A under the premise of scheduling feasibility.Finally,a case study based on a P2A demonstration project under construction in Inner Mongolia,China,verifies the proposed method.关键词
