Abstract

At present,there are some problems in the application of CO2 capture engineering,such as high regeneration energy consumption,low mass transfer rate and large operation loss,which seriously restricts the large-scale popularization and application of CO2 capture technology.To address these issues,phase change absorbers suitable for low partial pressure CO2 capture are developed in this paper.The phase change absorption system is mainly composed of hydrophilic amine N-aminoethyl piperazine(AEP),with lipophilic phase separation agent Di-n-butylamine(DPA)and activator.The results showed that the absorption load is 1.082 mol CO2/mol solution,and the regeneration temperature is reduced to 98.5℃.It has excellent absorption and desorption properties.NMR analysis shows that the reaction products have a carbamate molecular structure.Experimental studies of continuous testing of CO2 capture show that compared with the same concentration of 3 mol/L Monoethanolamine(MEA)solution,the absorption capacity of MEA in unit volume and concentration phase change system is increased by more than 33%under the same regeneration energy consumption;the regeneration rate of phase change system is increased by 15%compared with MEA under the same regeneration energy consumption,and the regeneration energyconsumption of phase change system which is decreased by more than 31%under the same regeneration rate.These results indicate that this phase change absorber has good application prospects for CO2 capture.
