摘要

Abstract

With the rapid increase of wind power penetration,wind farms are required to provide active frequency support in many countries'grid codes.However,the wind turbines(WTs)of a wind farm vary in states and have different frequency support capabilities due to location,wind direction,and wake effect,while the rotor kinetic energy limit exists.Therefore,the unreasonable power allocation problem needs to be solved during the process of frequency support.To solve this problem,this paper propose an adaptive distributed cooperative control strategy(ADC)for wind farms to fully use the wind farm's fast frequency support capability,improving frequency performance while achieving safety.The proposed control contains 3 parts:first,the consensus algorithm is employed to realize the reasonable power-sharing among WTs;second,on this basis,this paper proposes adaptive control considering the wind farm's state and frequency event severity to ensure the safe operation of WTs;besides,the preset recovery control is adopted in the restoration stage after the frequency support stage to alleviate the second frequency drop.Finally,the two-area four-generator simulation system with wind power can verify that the frequency performance of the proposed control strategy is better than the centralized control and distributed control with fixed coefficients.
