Abstract
Systemic hypertension(SHP)is a common disease in elderly cats that can lead to target organ damage(TOD),with the eyes being the most frequently affected target organ,and the ocular manifestations may include acute blindness,hyphema,and retinal hemorrhage.Prompt administration of antihypertensive medication is essential upon detecting TOD caused by SHP in affected cats.This article provides a comprehensive review of ocular symptoms,diagnosis,treatment,prognosis,and prevention of feline SHP-associated ocular lesions,aiming to offer insights for the clinical management of this disease.关键词
