摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the quantitative and qualitative effects of voice therapy in one adolescent with purberphonia through clinical interview,acoustic evaluation and voice facilitating techniques.Methods The treatment encompassed an initial voice assessment,a voice therapy session,and a follow-up appointment,spanning a total of three weeks.Voice facilitating techniques were employed to lower the pitch,and then supplemented by visual and auditory feedback methods to strengthen the patient's control of the larynx.Auditory perception assessments,acoustic analyses,and patient self-reports were conducted before and after the treatment.Results The results indicate a restoration of the patient's voice to a normal range and a reduction in psychological stress following the therapy.Conclusion This case report once again underscores the significance of voice therapy for adolescents with puberphonia,as it addresses not only pitch-related issues but also assists in reestablishing normal interpersonal relationships.关键词
